In collaboration with Ministry of Health and Social Services and the University of California, San Francisco, SFH is undertaking a behavioral and biological surveillance survey (BSS) among most-at-risk-populations in Namibia to provide important information about the risk of HIV and inform prevention, care, and treatment programs in these groups. This project is conducted using respondent driven sampling (RDS) methodology, a chain-referral, probability-based sampling method designed to reach hidden populations. The project began and launched in 2018.
